As the article points out, it must have flowed from the big neighbour, India, where multitude of castes and religons co-exists.
But, with the influx of knowledge economy and with a many, many educated middle class familes getting created, the age old "system" is bound to breakdown [Atlast??].

First steps...

A journey of a thousand miles, begins with a small step. So, here i am keeping my first steps in the sands of blogosphere. With a constant writer's block nagging around, the wish to post my ravings and rantings (R&R) out grew the block! The bursts, i expect to be sporadic :) whenever my R&R reach their thresholds. so, wish me luck to leave long lasting imprints!
